I can’t believe I am in week 12 of my pregnancy. It has already gone by so quickly. I am starting to feel better and more like myself so that is nice. I am still pretty tired, but I contribute that to chasing after a 20 month old. Oh my I just realized Dustyn will be 20 months old in 2 days. WOW! Only 4 months till his 2nd Birthday. I have some planning to do. Of course his theme will be Monster Trucks.
Anyways back to Halstead Baby #2
I go to meet a new doctor on Thursday. The doctor that delivered Dustyn moved this past summer, so now I am on the hunt for the perfect fit for me. There are only so many choices in our small town. So I am trying out this new doctor that the hospital just hired. If she doesn’t seem like the right fit for me I will stick with the current practice. I will let you all know how it goes on Thursday.
I am so excited to meet this new baby. I can’t wait to find out what we are having. I should find out right before Christmas so that will be a nice little Christmas gift for us. It really is a toss up on whether I want a boy or girl. In some aspects a boy would be so much easier. We have tons and tons of boy clothes, tons of boy toys, my stroller/car seat combo is neutral, but to me it is more boyish. I also think that two boys would play great together. In other aspects I would love to have a girl and to be able to dress her up in cute clothes (they have way cuter clothes for girls). Also then I would have one of each and Dustyn could be the “big” brother to his little sister. I will be happy whether it is a boy or girl, I am just excited to find out so I can start getting stuff ready. The main thing I want is a healthy baby.
