Fisher-Price has just started a new site called Moments of Joy. Basically you share any moment through picture, video or story, that has brought you Joy. To kick off their new site and encourage others to share each week between now and December 20th, Five winners will be randomly selected to win a $100 AMEX Gift Card. Then one very lucky Grand Prize winner will receive $1,000 in Fisher-Price toys.

I personally shared a video of Carsyn walking for the first time in his gait trainer and the boys playing in those leaves. Here is one of the photos of Dustyn that I uploaded.


How do you enter? Head over to the app on Facebook and load your memories. You can add two, four, ten, one hundred memories… that is all up to you. The app is very quick and easy to use. You can sign in with Facebook, Instagram or Fisher-Price. Then pick whether you want to upload a video, photo or story. You can even upload straight from Instagram!     My youngest is rolling from front to back, and from back to front. She started doing this around 2 1/2, 3 months or so, (she’s 4 1/2 months now.) The other day, I FINALLY managed to get a video of it. :)

    My most favorite photo is one taken in black and white when I was twelve. I had just come out of a community swimming pool and was (I thought) watching a friend take a photograph of a girl beside me. Here I was in the picture as well. Caught unawares, it was one of the best pictures I had ever taken in my life!

    I just recently took a pic of my coffee! Yep! I came down in the morning and found that my son had made me coffee in my Keurig, and set my cup on the counter with a note that said “have a great day” with a little heart on it! I had to take a pic for FB!

    I’ve captured my son loading up our carpeted landing with his toys, all shapes, sizes and colors then suddenly he dives into them rolling back and forth knocking them every where giggling his little 2 and a half year old butt off and of course my hubby and I are dying laughing.

    I didn’t personally capture my favorite moment, my aunt did. My husband and I got married in August of 2006, my grandfather passed away just before Christmas that year. We were able to get a picture with my grandparents at our wedding. I am so lucky that he was able to be there!

    My favorite moments I’ve captured on video are of my kids singing and playing music. I still watch my now 18 year old when she was 2 or 3 singing with my mom and the tradition has continued with my 6 year old.

    My favorite event captured in a photo was when my (then 10 year old) daughter was preparing to go out trick-or-treating and was waiting for her sister to get ready. Just the look of excited anticipation on her face (while trying to be patient) was priceless!

    The favorite video I had was a group of kids playing with my australian shepherd Debern’s Show n’ Tell Dream …. they all had hotdogs in hand, but all she wanted was the water coming out of the hose…. totally priceless

    Christmas mornings when my boys were small and they would get soooo excited to see all the gifts under the tree. Kept the video camera rolling all morning. THey are teenagers now and love to watch these videos and just laugh at each other!

    My daughter blowing a daisy, right as she started she sucked in a huge breath and the instant she started letting go I snapped the picture with her eyes huge, her mouth full of air and that bright yellow daisy held up in front of her face, its such a great picture of her when she was 5. =)

    I have a great video from a couple Christmases ago, of my grandpa singing. Also some of grandpa playing his fiddle with my dad & uncle on their guitars. Priceless memories!

    I love that I caught on video the first time my daughter started crawling! It was on Christmas Eve and was totally unexpected because she had not even tried crawling yet! I love that video!

    I’m married and have 4 boys so i have sooo many it’s hard to name just one. My oldest son was born march 2004 at his first Halloween he was a dino he had mastered crawling so it looked perfect in the outfit one of our friends had a 6 year old daughter that LOVED my son. So Branden my son was sitting on my dads knee and the little girl came up to talk with him Branden grabbed her face a hand on both sides and pulled her in a kissed her a wet baby kiss right on the mouth.     When the kids gave my husband his Father’s Day gift they all lined up beside the bed and the dog snuck in between them and rested his front paws on the bed as well, it was the cutest thing.

    My favorite moment was a picture I took of my daughter when she was only 4 years old on the beach by Lake Huron digging in the sand. The lighting was perfect. There was a sweet, warm breeze that flickered her pony tail upright. :-) So cute!

    I’ve got a pic of my youngest daughter when she was about 4. We had a surprise snow storm and all the kids ran out in there pjs and bathrobes (without gloves or hats or anything) and started an impromptu snowball fight. I ran out with my camera to snap a few pics before I scolded them to get inside before they froze to death. Lexi threw a snowball at me right when I snapped the pic. So, now I have this really great photo of her with a huge grin on her face and the snowball in mid-flight. Love that pic!!! :0)

    Just one, lol?! It’s so hard to choose! My recent fave is the one I captured of all 4 of my kids together. It’s so hard to get them together long enough to snap a photo before someone is whining or bouncing of the walls, ha ha.

    My favorite moment caught on video is of my daughter Vera and her reaction to the beginning of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”. She reacted like a 12 year old at a Justin Bieber concert, didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry!
